Set up or change your inspection address
A company can keep its registers and other records at one address other than its registered office: its single alternative inspection location, or SAIL. Form AD02 gives Companies House that address, or a new one. It must be in the part of the UK the company is registered in. There is no government fee. Moving records there is a separate notice, form AD03.

Questions directors ask
What is a SAIL address?
A single alternative inspection location: one address, other than the registered office, where people can inspect the company’s registers and records. Accountants and company secretarial firms often provide one.
Does this move my records?
No. AD02 only gives the address. Tell Companies House which records are kept there with form AD03, through Move company records.
Can a company have more than one?
No. A company has one inspection address at a time. Filing AD02 again replaces it.
