Update a director’s details
When a director’s name, service address, home address or nationality changes, Companies House must be told within 14 days using form CH01. Fileyear identifies the director by their full date of birth (the public register only ever shows the month and year), checks what has changed, and files it.

Questions directors ask
Why does Fileyear ask for the date of birth?
Companies House identifies an existing director this way on this form, not by an account reference — and only ever shows the month and year on the public register, so the day is never guessed.
What if more than one thing changed?
Fill in everything that changed; leave the rest blank. Fileyear only sends what you filled in.
