Your clients’ accounts, prepared by AI and filed as agent
Add clients by company number. Fileyear reads their bank or books, prepares the accounts and the Company Tax Return, sends the director one approval link, and you file to Companies House and HMRC under your agent credentials.

Questions practices ask
Do my clients need an account?
No. They get a link from you, sign in with a code sent to their email, and see only their own company. A passkey makes it one tap next time.
Do you file as our agent?
Yes. Company Tax Returns go to HMRC under your own HMRC agent sign-in, and accounts and confirmation statements to Companies House with the company’s authentication code. Each filing record names your practice and your agent reference.
What about clients with no books?
Most of them. The director uploads a bank statement in the portal, or you upload it for them. If they use Xero or QuickBooks, connect that instead. The AI sorts the year and asks only what it can’t decide.
What does the director approve?
The figures, what is filed where, and the statutory statements, word for word. Fileyear records who approved, when, how they signed in, and a fingerprint of exactly what they saw.
How is it billed?
Once a year, by card: £96 covers your first 10 clients. A client you add during the year is £9.60 then, with no proration, and counts at renewal. Government fees are passed on at cost.
When can we start filing?
Today you can add clients and prepare their year. Filing goes live as soon as HMRC and Companies House recognise Fileyear’s software, which was applied for in October 2026.
